01 — FEATURES

Not a viewer. A full terminal.

Type commands, scroll output, answer prompts. If it runs in your Mac's terminal, it runs through TermPod on your phone.

REAL-TIME STREAMING

Every keystroke, in real time

Type a command on your phone, see the output instantly on both screens. Scroll through history, interact with prompts, run TUI apps. Your phone becomes your terminal.

LOCAL-FIRST NETWORKING

Your data takes the shortest path

Same WiFi? Data goes directly between your devices — never leaves the room. Different network? TermPod upgrades to peer-to-peer. Your terminal data always takes the fastest, most private route.

MULTI-SESSION

All your sessions, one screen

A build in one tab, logs in another, a deploy script in a third. Each tab is an independent shell. Switch between them on your phone just like on your Mac.

E2E Encrypted

AES-256-GCM on every transport. The relay is zero-knowledge — it forwards ciphertext it cannot read. Nobody sees your terminal data but you.

Sub-5ms Latency

Local connections are near-instant. Even over peer-to-peer, the overhead is minimal. It feels like typing at your desk — because you practically are.

Full PTY Support

A real pseudoterminal, not a remote framebuffer. vim, htop, Claude Code — if it works in your terminal, it works through TermPod.

02 — POWER FEATURES

Your shell, with superpowers.

Structure your output, share a live session, save commands you run all the time, and record everything for later.

COMMAND BLOCKS

Every command, structured

TermPod detects where each command starts and ends. You get exit code badges, one-click copy, and instant re-run — no more scrolling through a wall of text to find what failed. Works with zsh, bash, and fish.

SESSION SHARING

Show someone your terminal. Right now.

Generate a read-only link and send it to anyone. They watch your session live in a browser — no install needed. The encryption key lives in the URL fragment, so the server never sees your data. Links expire after 24 hours.

Workflows

Stop retyping the same deploy scripts and multi-line commands. Save them as workflows, run them from the command palette.

Session Recording

Hit Cmd+Shift+R and every keystroke gets captured with millisecond timing. Export as asciicast, play back anytime.

Autocompletions

TermPod indexes your shell history and suggests commands as you type. It knows which commands take files, which take directories, and ranks by frequency and recency. Works over SSH too. Press Tab to accept.

03 — USE CASES

Walk away. Stay in control.

Something is running on your Mac. You need to check on it, respond to a prompt, or approve a deploy. Your phone is already in your pocket.

01

Step away without stopping

Kick off a build, start a migration, let Claude Code work. Then grab coffee, walk the dog, leave the office. Check progress from your pocket whenever you want.

02

Answer prompts without going back

A deploy needs confirmation. Claude Code needs a permission. Your script wants a password. Type the answer on your phone and keep moving.

03

Check on your server from the couch

SSH into your server from your Mac, then check service status, tail logs, and run health checks from your phone. No separate SSH app, no extra setup.

SERVER

root@web $ systemctl status nginx

● nginx.service - active (running)

root@web $ curl -s localhost/health

{"status":"ok","uptime":"14d","memory":"62%"}
